Managed Edge

Your new location has an opening date. Does the network have an owner?

A connection order is only one part of opening a branch or warehouse. Installation, testing, supplier handovers and support also need clear owners.

Discuss bringing the agreed network work into one delivery plan with Managed Edge. Your teams should know what must happen, who handles it and how readiness will be checked.

Who this is for

For IT and operations leaders opening, relocating or connecting business locations, especially when several suppliers are involved and time to coordinate them is limited.

Why it matters

A missed dependency can delay readiness. An unclear handover can leave teams unsure who should respond when a problem occurs. Agreeing responsibilities early helps the business make an informed opening or change decision.

Review project responsibilities

Scope the locations, target dates, supplier dependencies and required outcomes. Define the work CleverSpeed will handle and what stays with your staff, connectivity suppliers, application providers or ReadySpace. Ongoing management is a separate, explicit part of the agreement where needed.

Records and checks to agree

  • An agreed scope and delivery milestones.
  • A table showing who handles each responsibility.
  • Readiness checks and handover records.
  • Where ongoing management is included: monitoring boundaries, support contacts, escalation steps and review arrangements.

Confirm these proposed deliverables against delivery readiness before purchase. Dates and third-party dependencies need an agreed commitment; a discussion does not guarantee an opening date.

How success is checked

Agree which connections and business tasks must work before handover. Record test results, unresolved issues and acceptance by the named customer owner. Third-party delivery must be considered within the agreed commitments.

What to agree before purchase

Separate setup work from recurring management charges. Identify subcontracted work, exclusions, customer dependencies, service hours, change charges, incident responsibilities and termination or handover arrangements.

Technical review

Access, design and change checks

Define the network boundaries, access permissions, configuration records, change approval, rollback, monitoring and escalation. A rollback restores the previous setup if a change causes problems.

Review backup-connection or recovery tests only where that capability is in scope. Agree support coverage explicitly; Managed Edge does not replace your entire IT team or include 24-hour response by default.

Common questions

Who handles a problem after handover?

The agreement must identify the first contact, escalation route and responsibilities of each party. The actual arrangement depends on the agreed scope.

Where does ReadySpace fit?

CleverSpeed is a business of ReadySpace Network Pte Ltd. Where a project needs bespoke enterprise infrastructure, discuss any ReadySpace work as a separate scope, with a named owner and clear handover. Related-company services are not automatically included.
